Parameters:
v - the 2-D matrix or 3-D volume to be interpolated.
x - the integer x position at which to interpolate.
y - the integer x position at which to interpolate.
dx - the x-weight to use for interpolation.
dy - the y-weight to use for interpolation.
Returns:
a vector with the interpolated x and y values.
